“Welcome to Together In Mind’s resources page created to support anyone clinical and non-clinical working in health and social care, during this challenging time. My name is Bethan Morris and I am an Assistant Psychologist at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. My name is Neelam Solanki, another Assistant Psychologist at the Trust, and we want to give you a brief overview about how you can make the most of the resources on this website.

Firstly, we want to thank you for completing the ‘How Are You Today?’ survey. The information we get from the survey enables us to tailor the resources we include on the website to meet your needs as effectively as possible, so please do keep coming back to complete the survey.

We are very aware of the influx of COVID-19 resources relating to working within health and social care and supporting staff wellbeing and want to avoid adding to this problem. To ensure this we have a team of mental health professionals regularly reviewing and curating the resources you see on the website who are mindful of including information from reputable sources and avoiding duplication. Our resources are all reviewed by a member of the Trauma Service here at the Tavistock and Portman so that we are confident that the material fits with what the evidence, and specialist experience, tells us about what is needed at times like these. We frequently update the website with resources to accompany the podcasts we create, the content of which is aligned with what you say you need to support you through this challenging time in response to the ‘How Are You Today?’ survey.

On the bottom of the home page you can find the newest resources, so this is an easy way to check and see what’s recently been added. On the right hand side of the area specific pages, we will promote the resources which we think are most relevant to staff in your area, based on what you’re telling us through the ‘How Are You Today?’ Survey.

Now on to some practical guidance on how to navigate what is on the resources webpage. You can filter the resources by Topic; Audiences; and Formats to find resources to suit your particular need – or you can use the Search function if you want to find something more specific. Topics covered include but are not limited to; how to switch off, talking to your children about being a keyworker, supporting your mental and physical health, advice on bereavement, anxiety and sleep, and how to support your wellbeing and resilience while working in challenging environments.

We invite you to visit the website every couple of days to see any new information and resources that are coming through and let us know how you are feeling right now. Do also let us know if there are resources that you would like to suggest to be included – this is very much a collaborative project.

If you have any questions or suggestions you can get in touch with us via the Contact Us webpage.

Thank you for listening.”

We’ve curated these resources in response to what we are hearing from you, and will continue to add more as the situation and your needs change over time.

You can filter by Topic; Audiences; Formats – or use the Search function if you want to find something more specific.

Can’t find what you want? Get in touch via the Contact us page.
